For too long, communities like ours have been burdened by food deserts, economic disinvestment, environmental injustice, and limited access to wellness resources. At the same time, our youth face barriers to opportunity, health, and hope.
But what if a single space could begin to change that?
Science. Agriculture. Food. Economics.
The SAFE Lab at 149 Fabyan Place will be Newark’s first healing-centered community innovation hub—where local families, youth, and entrepreneurs can grow food, build businesses, study science, and care for their health in one shared space.
From May 24 to September 1, 2025, we’re launching the 100 Days of Healing campaign to raise $250,000 to purchase the land and build the SAFE Lab. This campaign is about reclaiming space, restoring power, and growing possibility.
Secure and transform 149 Fabyan Place into a vibrant hub for healing, education, and innovation.
Feed 150+ Newark Families, while centering wellness, science, and entreprenuership as a tool.
